AJIT V BHANDARKAR

Lt Col Ajit V Bhandarkar SC was an alumni of NDA. He was commissioned in 18 Madras from IMA in December 1981. He was appointed as an instructor in the prestigious Officers Training Academy, Chennai on 26th November 1987. He was in the frontline in 25 Rashtriya Rifles as a 2IC in October 1999 when he got martyred exemplifying the motto of his Regiment ” It is a glory to die doing one’s duty”.
Blessed with two boys Nirbhay and Akshay , he was a very devoted father, a caring son to his old parents and fond of his two elder brothers, Col Arun Bhandarkar and Anil Bhandarkar .True to the spirits of Olive Green (og) he believed that his country always came first in his duty.

Requirements for the screening:
- An auditorium with a minimum occupancy of 200 seats.
- A 3000 or higher lumens projector (HD) with suitable acoustics.
- Minimum of 1 hour session. (50 mins for the documentary, 5 mins of Intro and feedback session each)
