Vivek is a business-tech leader, an ultra-runner and a champion for military veteran causes and equality at the workplace. He has been involved in a range of veteran related events ranging from fund raising for Veernaris (wife of a martyr)/martyr’s families to initiatives to help veterans transition from the military to corporate. This has included 100+ 1-1 meets, group meetings, and webinars. He has been working with Metamorphes since ’23 on veteran causes around helping military veterans transition to corporate.

In 2024 he partnered with us and raised Rs ₹1,50,000 by running 2 ultra marathons – (1) 161 Km in Bangalore as a part of the Hennur Ultra Marathon in October 2024 where he placed second, and (2) 134 Km in Hyderabad at a 24 hour solo stadium run in November 2024. These funds helped us with carrying our various initiatives of ours like Veer Naari & Outreach Program, Braveheart Homestays and Lt Col Ajit Bhandarkar Award amongst the other initiatives as well.

In 2025 we want to do more! Vivek is looking to raise Rs 2,00,000 and will do so by kicking off with a half-marathon (21.1Km) with a 30Kg+ backpack to signify ‘No solider left behind’. He will follow-up with a 161 Km run at the Hennur Bamboo Ultra Run, and another ultra marathon.
